Lending Supervisor in Waterbury

A community bank is confidentially looking to add another member to their banking family. They are seeking a supervisor to oversee the Lending team.

Responsibilities:

• Oversight for the Lending team.
• Review and streamline existing processes.  
• Creating and implementing a strategy to improve production.
• Producing daily production reports, reading and interpreting the data and the ability to make adjustments based off the data.
• Completing department quality reviews, providing feedback to staff and leadership team.
• Coaching and mentoring of staff members.
• Understand and oversee Compliance reviews for department processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years’ experience with managing teams.
• Experience with underwriting, credit analysis and collections.
• Ability to identify process deficiencies and implement process improvements to resolve issues.
• The ability to work accurately and independently.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent analytical skills and an eye for detail.
