Animal Welfare Specialist -- Swine Production

Seeking a dedicated professional to lead animal well-being training and assessments in a dynamic agricultural environment.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and deliver animal welfare training programs
• Conduct site audits and assessments
• Resolve animal handling issues
• Manage compliance with industry certification standards
• Investigate and address animal welfare complaints
• Develop continuous improvement action plans
• Represent the organization at industry events
• Maintain training and audit documentation

 What You Bring:

• Degree in Food Animal Production or related field (preferred)
• Strong understanding of swine industry
• Excellent communication and training skills
• Multi-tasking ability
• Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, Access)
• Valid driver's license
• Compassionate approach to animal and human welfare
