Senior Tax Manager - Real Estate

Location: Naperville, IL

Overview

A large regional CPA and advisory firm is seeking a Senior Tax Manager specializing in real estate in Naperville (hybrid). You will serve as a strategic advisor to clients, lead complex tax engagements and combine technical expertise with leadership, client relationship management and business development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex real estate tax compliance and consulting engagements
• Advise clients proactively on tax strategies and industry trends
• Mentor and develop team members through coaching, training and feedback
• Collaborate across service lines to deliver integrated solutions
• Drive business growth through networking and industry events
• Use tax technology tools to improve efficiency and client service

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA required; MST or JD/LLM preferred
• 10+ years of progressive tax experience, including public accounting
• Expertise in real estate and partnership taxation
• Proven leadership managing client service teams and multiple projects
• Exceptional client service and communication skills
