We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee roadway and bridge construction projects from pre-construction through completion. This role is responsible for managing schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and client relationships while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in DOT, municipal, or transportation infrastructure projects and thrives in a fast-paced heavy civil environment.
Manage roadway and bridge projects from award through closeout
Oversee project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasting
Coordinate with owners, DOTs, inspectors, engineers, and subcontractors
Review plans, specifications, and contract documents
Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, and pay applications
Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and project specifications
Work closely with Superintendents to plan work sequencing and manpower
Track project progress and report financial and schedule performance
5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in heavy civil construction
Proven experience on roadway and bridge projects
Strong understanding of DOT specifications and procedures
Experience managing subcontractors, budgets, and schedules
Proficiency with project management and scheduling software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project, HeavyBid, or similar)
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
Valid driver’s license
