Job Description

A well-established Florida law firm is seeking a Construction Litigation Attorney to join its Tampa office. This is a great opportunity for an attorney with a background in construction or civil litigation who is looking to build their experience within a busy and well-respected construction practice.

The firm represents contractors, developers, and other construction industry clients in a variety of disputes and project-related matters. Attorneys in this role will gain meaningful exposure to construction defect claims, contract disputes, and other complex construction-related litigation while working alongside an experienced legal team.

What You’ll Do

• Represent clients in construction and related civil litigation matters
• Assist with cases from inception through resolution, including discovery, motion practice, depositions, and hearings
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents
• Conduct legal research and assist in developing litigation strategy
• Coordinate with clients, experts, and project professionals throughout the litigation process
• Support trial and arbitration preparation when necessary

What We’re Looking For

• Active Florida Bar member in good standing
• Approximately 2+ years of litigation experience, ideally with exposure to construction or complex civil litigation
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented mindset and strong attention to detail
