Position: Fire Sprinkler Designer Experience Level: Mid-level Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities:
- Create comprehensive fire sprinkler system designs using industry-standard design software and tools.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure accurate design implementation.
- Perform hydraulic calculations, equipment selection, and pipe sizing for optimal system performance.
- Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and specifications for installation crews.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project requirements and verify design feasibility.
- Stay updated on industry codes, standards, and design practices.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Fire Sprinkler Designer.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, HydraCAD, or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of fire protection codes and standards.
- Ability to perform hydraulic calculations and pipe sizing for fire sprinkler systems.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- NICET certification in Fire Sprinkler Design (preferred).
Compensation: Salary Range: $60,000 - $100,000 (commensurate with experience) Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance and retirement plans.
