Tax Senior | Madison, WI

Want a senior tax seat with a visible climb into supervision? A mid-sized CPA firm with clients across manufacturing, construction, real estate and professional services is adding a Tax Senior in Madison.

About the Role:

• Take ownership of a group of recurring client relationships
• Review associate returns and coach them on quality and efficiency
• Handle multi-state filings and estimated payment calculations
• Research tax questions and write clear supporting memos
• Support trust, estate and gift tax compliance as needed

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of public accounting tax experience
• CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) preferred; pursuing either is encouraged
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Detail orientation and reliable deadline management
• Working knowledge of CCH Axcess, UltraTax or similar platforms
