Tax Associate | Bloomington, MN

Craving a tax desk that teaches you the craft instead of burying you in volume? A growing public accounting practice known for retention and teamwork is hiring a Tax Associate for its Bloomington office.

About the Role:

• Build fluency in firm tax software and processes with senior support
• Prepare individual, partnership, corporate and S corporation returns
• Gather client data and answer routine questions with professionalism
• Draft responses to IRS and state notices under supervision
• Research technical questions and write clear memos

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of public accounting tax experience
• CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) eligible, or actively pursuing either credential
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting
• Exposure to CCH Axcess, UltraTax or similar tax software
• Working grasp of federal and state tax concepts
