Job Description

An outstanding Mechanical Construction Company is search for the position of Service Account Manager. This client is providing building HVAC, process piping, and plumbing construction services in the market. Ideal candidate for the Service Account Manager position will have a minimum of three years in the mechanical construction industry.

Primary responsibilities for the Service Account Manager position include:

  • Understand collective company-wide goals as well as departmental and individual goals
  • Maintain existing customer base while acting as the account manager and point person for any and all clients specific to your accounts
  • Continually pursue new avenues of profitable revenue generation by leveraging existing business relationships, developing new relationships, and providing fair and responsible budgets, bids, and estimates as well as obtaining new sales
  • Maintain targeted revenue level of preventative maintenance agreements
  • Collaborate with all departments to identify growth opportunities
  • Continuously work to build and maintain strong, long lasting customer relationships
  • Prepare appropriate and pertinent information to properly transition all sales to service operations
  • Notify service manager of all customer related issues

Primary qualifications for the Service Account Manager include:

  • 3+ years of mechanical service and/or facility service industry experience
  • Retain up-to-date knowledge base through personal and professional development
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, Word docs...
  • High level of communication skills required, both written and oral
  • Previous account management/sales experience preferred
