Looking for your next estimating role in steel? A fabricator and erector serving the East Bay and Northern California needs an Estimator who can price structural and miscellaneous steel packages, including both fabrication and erection scope, across light commercial, residential, and industrial projects.

What you'll handle:

• Reviewing plans and specs to catch scope gaps, exclusions, and value-engineering opportunities
• Producing takeoffs and estimates for structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication and erection
• Requesting and comparing quotes for detailing, erection, coatings, and freight
• Preparing competitive bids and proposals on light commercial, residential, and industrial work
• Coordinating with project managers, the shop, and field crews on constructability and project handoff

What you bring:

• Hands-on steel estimating experience covering fabrication and erection
• Strong blueprint reading skills
• Familiarity with structural and miscellaneous metals packages
• Nice to have: Tekla EPM, SDS2, or comparable estimating software
