We have partnered with a premier Beverly Hills law firm known for handling high-stakes catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and mass tort cases. Recognized for securing multi-million dollar outcomes, the firm is seeking a driven Tort Litigation Associate ready to take on a high-level courtroom and case-management role within a sophisticated practice.
The Role
In this position, you will manage a high-value caseload with significant autonomy. Rather than focusing solely on research, you will serve as the primary attorney driving cases from initial filing through trial preparation.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee a diverse docket of complex tort and personal injury matters.
Conduct and defend depositions of parties, fact witnesses, and medical/technical experts.
Draft and argue substantive court motions, including motions for summary judgment and discovery disputes.
Collaborate with medical professionals and liability experts to establish damages and liability.
Lead settlement negotiations, mediations, and pre-trial proceedings.
Qualifications
Licensure: J.D. from an accredited institution and active admission to the California State Bar.
Experience: 4+ years of dedicated litigation experience in tort law (plaintiff or defense background).
Skills: Strong motion-writing abilities, sharp oral advocacy, and a trial-focused approach.
Local Insight: Familiarity with Los Angeles Superior Court procedures and local court rules.
