Job Summary
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, production planning, logistics, and supplier performance. This role ensures materials and products are delivered efficiently, cost-effectively, and on time, while supporting manufacturing and operational goals. The Supply Chain Manager works cross-functionally to optimize supply chain processes, reduce costs, and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage procurement, supplier relationships, and sourcing strategies to ensure reliable material supply
- Oversee inventory management, including planning, forecasting, and stock level optimization
- Collaborate with Production and Manufacturing to develop production schedules and ensure timely material availability
- Drive cost reduction initiatives across procurement, logistics, and inventory management
- Monitor supplier performance, including quality, delivery, and compliance metrics
- Lead supply chain process improvements and implement best practices
- Manage logistics, including inbound/outbound transportation, warehousing, and distribution
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain efficiency, cost, and service levels
- Ensure compliance with company policies, contracts, and regulatory requirements
- Lead, coach, and develop supply chain team members
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain or operations management, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory management, production planning, and logistics
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and supply chain analytics
- Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in industrial machinery, heavy equipment, automotive, or aerospace supply chains
- Certification such as CSCP, CPIM, or CPSM
- Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience
- Multi-site supply chain management experience
- Experience with global sourcing and logistics

Work Environment
This role operates primarily in an office environment with regular interaction on the plant floor and occasional travel to suppliers or distribution facilities.
