HVAC Technical Sales Representative

Location: Indianapolis, IN
Travel: Up to 25%
Compensation: $80,000 – $140,000 Total Compensation (Base + Uncapped Commission)

A leading North American HVAC equipment manufacturer is seeking a Technical Sales Representative based in Indianapolis to manage and grow an established territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow the assigned territory

  • Travel up to 25% within the region

  • Develop relationships with engineers, contractors, consultants, and building owners

  • Promote HVAC equipment, systems, and technical capabilities

  • Prepare detailed equipment recommendations and cost estimates

  • Stay current on product offerings and industry advancements

  • Collaborate with internal engineering and operations teams to support project execution

  • Provide market feedback on customer needs and competitive trends

  • Represent the company professionally within the marketplace

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical, Construction, Controls, Engineering, or Technical Sales

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational abilities

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

  • Team-oriented with the ability to operate independently

  • Valid driver’s license required
