Trusts and Estates Associate

•            Manage and draft legal documents related to trusts, estate administration, and tax planning.

•            Collaborate closely with partners to provide client-focused legal solutions.

•            Utilize 2-5 years of experience in trusts and estates law to handle complex cases.

•            Preferred: Knowledge in estate/gift tax matters and related legal areas.

•           

Commercial Real Estate Associate

•            Engage in legal work involving commercial and residential real estate transactions.

•            Provide high-level client service while managing sophisticated real estate matters.

•            Apply a strong academic background and relevant experience to grow within an established practice.

•            Focus on title work, transactional matters, and comprehensive real estate law

Responsibilities

Represent clients in civil and commercial litigation cases, including drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs.

Conduct discovery, including depositions and interrogatories.

Handle trials, hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.

Provide strategic legal counsel and maintain strong client relationships.

Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys to achieve successful outcomes.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Licensed to practice law in Vermont and in good standing.

Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage a diverse caseload and work independently.
