Litigation Attorney

Location: Rapid City, SD Area

A respected, privately owned law firm in the Rapid City area is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney looking to handle a diverse caseload, work alongside experienced legal professionals, and build a long-term career with a firm that values collaboration and client service.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution

• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs

• Handle discovery, depositions, mediations, and court appearances

• Develop case strategy and advocate effectively on behalf of clients

• Build and maintain strong client relationships while delivering exceptional legal counsel

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school

• Active license to practice law (or ability to obtain licensure in South Dakota)

• 2+ years of litigation experience

• Strong writing, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills

• Ability to manage multiple cases and work independently in a fast-paced environment

Compensation
