Commercial Construction Superintendent

Sheridan, Wyoming | Relocation Assistance Available

A long standing and highly respected commercial general contractor is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to join its team in Sheridan, WY. This is a strong opportunity for a superintendent who enjoys running projects in the field, taking ownership of the jobsite, and working with a company that values experienced construction professionals.

Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates relocating to the Sheridan area.

What You'll Do

• Manage day-to-day field operations from preconstruction through project completion
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, and site activities
• Maintain project schedules and keep work progressing according to plan
• Monitor quality and ensure construction meets plans and specifications
• Lead jobsite safety efforts and maintain a safe, organized site
• Conduct subcontractor meetings and communicate project priorities
• Coordinate with Project Managers, owners, architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders
• Identify field issues early and work with the project team to develop solutions
• Oversee punch list, closeout, and turnover activities

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of commercial construction Superintendent experience preferred
• Experience with ground-up commercial construction
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and construction documents
• Proven ability to independently manage a commercial jobsite
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Commitment to safety, quality, and meeting project schedules
