CNC Machinists | First & Second Shift

gpac is partnering with an established industrial manufacturer seeking CNC Machinists across multiple openings. Opportunities include horizontal machining, milling, and vertical lathe work.

These roles are suited to machinists who enjoy varied parts, careful setups, and the challenge of producing accurate work to demanding specifications.

What You’ll Do

• Set up and operate CNC equipment within your machining specialty.
• Read blueprints and interpret dimensions and tolerances.
• Select and install tooling, fixtures, and workholding.
• Make offsets and basic program adjustments as needed.
• Monitor tool wear, machine performance, and part quality.
• Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and work with the team to resolve them.
• Maintain safe, organized work practices.

What You’ll Bring

• Hands-on CNC machining experience with horizontal machines, mills, or vertical lathes.
• Setup experience and the ability to make appropriate offsets.
• Strong blueprint-reading and measurement skills.
• Experience working to tight tolerances.
• A quality-focused approach and sound troubleshooting skills.

Pay ranges from $25–$35/hour, depending on the opening and experience. First- and second-shift opportunities are available.
