Position Overview We are seeking a proactive Design Engineer to join a dynamic team focused on developing custom mechanical solutions for agricultural applications. This role involves close collaboration with customers, sales, and production teams to design and refine products that meet specific client needs and manufacturing standards.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with customers to develop new designs, generating detailed engineering drawings for manufacturing.
Work alongside sales personnel to address industry needs, selecting materials that balance quality and cost-effectiveness.
Assist production teams by resolving design-related queries and issues.
Update drawings and ERP systems to reflect design changes and revisions.
Investigate customer feedback and field complaints, implementing design or process improvements as necessary.
Propose enhancements to production methods or product designs to boost quality and efficiency.
Maintain and update all models and drawings to current specifications.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
3–5 years of relevant experience in mechanical design.
Proficiency in SolidWorks, with a focus on sheet metal applications.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with sheet metal design and brake press operations is advantageous.
Knowledge of standard drafting practices and formats.
Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive salary, with estimates ranging from $95,000 to $105,000 annually, depending on experience.
