Operating out of 3 offices around Indiana, we have the ability to serve not just Indiana but the sounding states Ohio, Kentucky, and Illinois. Our team is dedicated to quality and safety, designing, fabricating, and erecting some of the countries most unique structures, wining an AISC Award for the fabrication and erection of a Art School and its installations. 

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to oversee our engineering department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in steel construction, extensive design experience, and the ability to manage multiple projects while ensuring compliance with industry standards. Not only will you be the structural engineering subject matter expert, you'll also assist in our pursuit of designing state of the art construction tools and equipment to increase shop and construction efficiency. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the engineering department and oversee the detailing team.
  • Design and analyze steel structures for various projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Review and approve engineering designs, calculations, and detailed drawings.
  • Ensure all designs comply with applicable codes and standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Qualifications:

  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification is required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of structural design experience, with a focus on steel construction.
  • Strong knowledge of fabrication and erection processes.
  • Proficient in structural design software.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
