- Prepare and review financial reports (profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow statements) for clients and discuss results with client owners.
- Serve as the main client contact for accounting matters. Communicate effectively with small business owners to understand their needs and explain financial data.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5–10+ years of bookkeeping or controller experience in a public accounting or professional services setting. Proven track record working with multiple clients and deadlines.
- Technical Skills: Expert level in QuickBooks (Online/Desktop) and strong general ledger accounting skills. Proficiency with MS Excel and other accounting tools is a plus.
- Tasks: Hands-on experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and financial reconciliations. Able to manage all aspects of the monthly close for several client accounts.
