Job Description

Win big structural work for an AISC-certified Michigan steel erector on Midwest projects of 5,000+ tons. The permanent full-time Business Development Manager position offers $100,000-$200,000 per annum plus bonus incentives and Midwest travel.

Day-to-day

• Generate steel erection business with owners and general contractors across Midwest markets
• Shape pursuit strategy on major structural packages of 5,000+ tons
• Track bid timing, competitor activity, and regional project pipelines
• Travel across the Midwest to grow accounts and push opportunities to award
• Carry an AISC-certified Michigan erector's brand into every meeting

What you bring

• Business development or sales experience in steel erection, structural steel, or heavy construction
• A record of winning large Midwest tonnage projects
• Relationships with general contractors, fabricators, or owners preferred
• Willing to travel throughout the Midwest
• Strong communicator who closes work
