Job Description

A top-performing, community-focused bank on Chicago’s North Side is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Credit Analyst. This is a full-time, onsite role offering hands-on experience in underwriting local CRE deals and long-term growth within a stable credit team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Underwrite commercial real estate loans (multifamily, office, retail, etc.)

  • Analyze borrower financials, tax returns, and property cash flow

  • Prepare detailed credit memos and loan presentations

  • Support portfolio monitoring and risk reviews

  • Collaborate with lenders and credit officers to structure deals

  • Ensure compliance with internal policy and regulatory guidelines

Qualifications:

  • 2–3 years of experience in credit analysis or commercial/small business lending

  • Experience with financial statement review and cash flow modeling

  • Strong Excel and analytical skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Must be able to work onsite full-time in Chicago (North Side)

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $60,000–$72,000 depending on experience
