Job Title: Structural Steel Fabrication & Erection Project Manager

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Project Manager with 3–5 years of experience in AISC structural steel fabrication and erection. The ideal candidate will oversee and coordinate all phases of structural steel projects, from pre-construction through final erection. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team that values technical expertise, organization, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage structural steel fabrication and erection projects from start to finish

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and scope

  • Coordinate with engineering, fabrication, and field erection teams

  • Review and interpret structural drawings and specifications

  • Communicate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure project alignment

  • Monitor field activities and resolve site issues as needed

  • Oversee change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation

  • Ensure compliance with AISC standards, safety protocols, and quality control procedures

  • Use FabTrol and Tekla for material tracking, production planning, and model review

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of project management experience in AISC structural steel fabrication and erection (required)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (highly preferred)

  • Experience with FabTrol and Tekla software (highly preferred)

  • Strong understanding of steel fabrication shop processes and erection sequencing

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to lead teams, solve problems, and manage time effectively

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting structural and shop drawings
