Job Description

A steel bridge fabricator serving the Jefferson City, MO area needs a Quality Control Manager to own shop inspection, NDT oversight, and AWS D1.5 compliance from fit-up through final release.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and perform weld inspection and NDT coverage across bridge steel production
• Maintain compliance with AWS D1.5, AISC requirements, and project specifications
• Build and run inspection plans, quality documentation, and NCR/corrective action
• Coordinate with production, project managers, and third-party inspectors

Requirements:

• CWI certification
• UT Level II
• Hands-on experience with AWS D1.5 bridge steel fabrication quality
• 8+ years in steel fabrication QC
