Newark, NJ | On-Site | Full-Time

We are seeking a Redevelopment Attorneyto join our expanding team and contribute to some of the most impactful redevelopment projects across New Jersey.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on redevelopment projects pursuant to the Local Redevelopment and Housing Law (LRHL).
  • Handle PILOT applications pursuant to the Long Term Tax Exemption Law throughout New Jersey.
  • Draft, negotiate, and review redevelopment agreements and related documents.
  • Collaborate with developers, municipalities, and other stakeholders to advance complex projects.
  • Work independently with limited supervision while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience handling redevelopment projects under the LRHL.
  • Significant experience with PILOT applications across New Jersey.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple matters simultaneously.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
