GPAC is a national executive search firm that has been retained by a confidential client to conduct a search for the position of Industrial Refrigeration Service Technician

Primary responsibilities for the Industrial Refrigeration Service Technician include:

  • Conduct regular maintenance.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot refrigeration systems, including wiring diagrams, schematics, and other technical manuals.
  • Repair or replace any defective components.
  • Perform installs.
  • Respond to emergency repair requests.
  • Communicate effectively with others.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision

Primary qualifications for the Industrial Refrigeration Service Technician include:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years' experience in commercial refrigeration service is required.
  • Possess a valid driver's license with reliable transportation and a clean driving record is required.
  • Ability to gain access to military basis is required.
  • Certification as a Refrigeration Technician is preferred.
  • Experience in heavy industrial refrigeration Ammonia, NH3/Hydrocarbon, Absorption REF experience 
  • Strong knowledge of multiple brands of equipment and controls systems.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and on-call shifts as needed.
