BIM/VDC Professional in Saint Louis

Job Description

We are an award-winning mechanical contractor is looking for a motivated individual to bring their mechanical experience to a growing dynamic team as a BIM/VDC Professional.  Ideally, we looking for someone who enjoys working as a team, has a good attitude and a willingness to work hard. This fast-paced job gives you the opportunity to be on the front end of projects to help identify problems before construction begins.

Job Duties:

• Review plumbing, HVAC, piping, Sheetmetal mechanical construction documents
• Coordinate mechanical systems in AutoCAD Fabrication/Revit
• Create shop drawings for field and fabrication shop
• Closely communicate with field and project managers
• Attendance at project coordination meetings
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects
• Opportunity – Establish and maintain outsource relationships including providing standards, expectations and project work
• Quality Control - Work with Leads to ensure that we provide consistent and accurate information to the field
• Accountability: Track and maintain project hours against budget
• Innovation - Process & Systems Improvement

Minimum Requirements

• 2 years of experience with VDC/BIM in plumbing, and/or mechanical
• Must have AutoCAD and Revit knowledge
• Mechanical project management is a big plus/Construction Management Degree Preferred
• Must be able to Multitask on a large scale
• Keep cool under pressure
• Field experience a plus but not necessary
• Experience with the following software:
• AutoCAD Fabrication
• Revit base knowledge
• Microsoft Excel/Outlook
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
