Fleet Manager – Maintenance and Logistics (Greater Boston area)

Oversee a Modern Fleet of Trucks • Leadership Role • Growing Industry

A well-established company in the electrical/construction sector is seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to oversee the maintenance, performance, and daily logistics of a fleet of 85 trucks operating throughout the Greater Boston area.

We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented leader who knows how to keep a fleet running safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the maintenance, repair schedules, and overall readiness of a 100 unit fleet.
  • Manage vendor relationships, service providers, and maintenance budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, DOT regulations, and company policies.
  • Track fleet performance, mileage, fuel usage, and operational KPIs.
  • Coordinate with operations, project managers, and field teams to ensure equipment availability.
  • Implement preventative maintenance programs and recommend continuous improvements.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing a medium-to-large fleet
  • Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance, DOT compliance, and fleet logistics.
  • Ability to analyze data and make cost-effective decisions.
  • Solid communication and leadership skills.
  • Tech-savvy with fleet management software is a plus.

Salary: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00
