Tax Senior

Location: Raleigh, NC (Charlotte, Winston-Salem, Nashville or Atlanta also considered)

Overview

A national professional services firm is seeking a Tax Senior for its tax team in an in-office role based in Raleigh, North Carolina (Charlotte, Winston-Salem, Nashville and Atlanta offices also listed). You will work with privately held businesses in industries such as manufacturing, logistics, construction and real estate.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review and supervise S corporation, partnership and other pass-through entity returns
• Provide customized tax compliance and advisory services alongside engagement teams
• Research and analyze technical tax issues and develop practical recommendations
• Manage multiple engagements and priorities while maintaining excellent client service
• Mentor and develop team members through coaching and technical guidance
• Contribute to C corporation returns, tax provisions and individual returns as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field
• 2+ years of public accounting or professional services experience (3 preferred)
• CPA, EA or JD earned or in progress
• Strong problem-solving and client service skills
