Project Engineer – DOT / Bridge Construction

We are seeking a Project Engineer with experience supporting DOT transportation projects. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and 2–5 years of experience working on DOT projects, preferably involving bridges, highways, or other heavy civil infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with the planning and execution of DOT construction projects.
• Coordinate with owners, subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
• Track project schedules, budgets, and quantities.
• Ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with contract requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• 2–5 years of experience on DOT transportation projects.
• Bridge and highway construction experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
