A well-established community bank in Baton Rouge is seeking an experienced Bank Branch Manager to lead the daily operations of a high-performing branch while delivering exceptional customer service and driving business growth. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated banking professional who enjoys coaching teams, developing customer relationships, and making a meaningful impact in the local community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all day-to-day branch operations while ensuring exceptional customer service.
  • Lead, coach, and develop branch employees to achieve sales, service, and operational goals.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with consumer and business clients while identifying opportunities for additional banking products and services.
  • Grow branch deposits, loans, and customer relationships through proactive business development.
  • Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee branch security, cash management, audits, and operational controls.
  • Resolve customer concerns professionally while creating a positive banking experience.
  • Monitor branch performance, meet production goals, and maintain strong operational efficiency.
  • Participate in community events and represent the bank throughout the Baton Rouge market.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of banking experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
  • Retail Banking or Relationship Banking experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven success leading teams, coaching employees, and achieving branch goals.
  • Strong knowledge of branch operations, consumer banking products, and customer relationship management.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Horizon Core Software is a plus.
  • High degree of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
