Traveling Superintendent – Nationwide Commercial Projects
We are partnering with a reputable commercial general contractor that is looking to add an experienced Traveling Superintendent to their team. This organization is known for delivering high-quality projects across multiple sectors and maintains a strong pipeline of work with long-standing clients. The role involves overseeing both ground-up construction and major renovation projects throughout the United States.
Direct and manage daily field operations from project kickoff through final completion
Supervise subcontractors, vendors, and on-site crews to ensure productivity and quality
Maintain and drive project schedules to meet key milestones and deadlines
Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations
Collaborate closely with Project Managers to provide progress updates and resolve field issues
Lead jobsite meetings, walkthroughs, and inspections
Monitor workmanship and ensure adherence to plans and specifications
Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
Experience with ground-up construction strongly preferred
Ability and willingness to travel full-time to project locations nationwide
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
Experience in sectors such as retail, healthcare, hospitality, industrial, or office is beneficial
Proficiency in scheduling and managing fast-paced construction environments
