Seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Billing Coordinator to join thier team. This individual will oversee all aspects of the billing process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and process client invoices in compliance with firm policies and client guidelines.
  • Monitor billing deadlines and ensure timely submission of invoices.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to address billing inquiries and discrepancies.
  • Generate and analyze billing and accounts receivable reports.
  • Maintain and update client billing records and profiles in the firm's billing system.
  • Handle e-billing submissions through various client platforms, ensuring compliance with specific client requirements.
  • Assist in resolving billing issues, including payment delays or disputes.
  • Support the accounting team with month-end and year-end closing procedures related to billing.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years in legal billing or similar professional services environment.
  • Familiarity with legal billing software (e.g., Elite, Aderant, or similar) and e-billing platforms.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with attorneys, staff, and clients.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
