Insurance Coverage Attorney

Greater Atlanta, GA

A well-established law firm is seeking an Insurance Coverage Attorney to join its growing practice in the greater Atlanta, Georgia area. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 2–4+ years of insurance coverage experience, particularly those with a background in third-party liability coverage and related litigation.

The attorney will work closely with multiple partners on a variety of sophisticated insurance coverage matters, providing both coverage analysis and litigation support and representation when disputes arise.

Position Highlights

• Handle a diverse range of third-party liability insurance coverage matters.
• Work alongside multiple partners on complex coverage issues and litigation.
• Conduct legal research and prepare detailed coverage analyses and reports.
• Represent insurance carriers in coverage-related litigation and disputes.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, coverage opinions, and other legal documents.
• Assist with developing litigation and coverage strategies.
• Communicate directly with clients and collaborate with attorneys throughout the firm.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• 2+ years of insurance coverage experience, preferably involving third-party liability coverage.
• Strong litigation background with the ability to represent insurers when coverage disputes become litigated.
• Prior experience practicing with a private law firm or judicial clerkship experience.
• Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple complex matters.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Georgia Bar admission in good standing.
