Job Title: Heavy Civil Operations Manager
Location: (Hybrid – Office & Project Sites)
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Operations Manager to lead and oversee multiple infrastructure projects while driving operational performance across the organization. This role blends office-based leadership with regular site visits and offers the opportunity to play a key role in regional growth.
Manage multiple heavy civil projects and oversee Project Managers
Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize execution
Ensure projects remain on schedule, within budget, and aligned with quality standards
Lead cost tracking, budgeting, forecasting, and full project lifecycle management (pre-construction through closeout)
Coordinate across engineering, procurement, and project management teams
Proactively identify and mitigate operational risks
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards
Proven experience managing multiple heavy civil projects
Strong background in cost control, budgeting, and operational oversight
Experience with dams, reservoirs, & spillway construction
Comfortable operating in a hybrid leadership role (office + site visits)
5+ years of construction or industrial operations leadership experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities
Proficiency with construction management tools (Procore, HCSS, etc)
Experience with other transportation construction projects; road, bridge, & structures is a plus
