Our client is a relationship driven Community Minded Bank serving farmers, ranchers and local businesses. It's looking for an Agricultural Commercial Lender to grow and manage a mixed portfolio of agricultural and commercial loans.
What you'll do:
- Build new relationships with ag producers and commercial businesses, and grow existing ones
- Structure, underwrite and present ag operating, equipment, livestock and farm real estate loans, along with C&I, CRE and equipment loans
- Manage a mixed portfolio: annual reviews, farm and site visits, collateral and covenant monitoring, and risk ratings
- Cross sell deposits, treasury management and other bank services
- Stay active in the community through cooperatives, chambers, ag groups and civic boards
What you bring:
- 3+ years of ag and/or commercial lending or credit experience at a bank, credit union or Farm Credit
- Strong analysis of farm and business financials, cash flow and collateral
- Bachelor's degree in ag business, finance, accounting or related field, or equivalent experience
- An ag background and local market relationships are strongly preferred
