Commercial Litigation Associate (2–3 Years Experience)
St. Louis | Full-Time

A respected law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate with 2–3 years of experience to join its litigation practice.

This role involves representing businesses and individuals in disputes arising from commercial and business activities, with an emphasis on strategic resolution through negotiation, mediation, arbitration, or trial when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle a broad range of commercial litigation matters, including breach of contract, partnership and shareholder disputes, real estate disputes, unfair business practices, antitrust matters, employment-related claims, insurance disputes, and fraud

  • Draft pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents

  • Conduct discovery, including document review and evidence development

  • Represent clients in court proceedings and alternative dispute resolution (ADR)

  • Negotiate settlements and advise clients on cost-effective dispute resolution strategies

Qualifications:

  • 2–3 years of commercial litigation experience

  • Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills

  • Experience managing matters from early stages through resolution

  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and opposing counsel
