Position Overview for Project Coordinator / Inside Sales

As a Project Coordinator / Inside Sales professional, you will serve as a key point of contact for customers by assisting with product selection, preparing material estimates, and coordinating project timelines. This Project Coordinator / Inside Sales role plays a critical part in supporting revenue growth while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and strong customer relationships throughout the sales process.

Key Responsibilities for Project Coordinator / Inside Sales

· Assist walk-in and call-in customers with product knowledge, material recommendations, and project guidance

· Prepare accurate estimates, bids, and material packages from plans and specifications

· Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings to support quoting and project accuracy

· Follow up on quotes and assist in converting opportunities into completed sales

· Coordinate closely with outside sales to support bids, pricing, and project execution

· Communicate with vendors to confirm pricing, product availability, and lead times

· Partner with operations and logistics teams to schedule and track deliveries

· Maintain accurate quote documentation, order details, and customer records

· Support inventory processes including cycle counts and resolving discrepancies

· Assist in managing project timelines to ensure smooth order fulfillment

Qualifications for Project Coordinator / Inside Sales

· Experience in the construction supply or building materials industry required

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings

· Background in inside sales, estimating, or project coordination preferred

· Strong communication and relationship-building skills

· Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
