Position: Insurance Coverage Attorney
Location: Dallas, TX
I am working directly with the owners of a well-established, Dallas-based litigation firm seeking an experienced Insurance Coverage Attorney to join its nationally respected coverage practice. The firm represents insurance carriers in complex first-party and third-party coverage disputes, bad faith litigation, and declaratory judgment actions involving high-exposure claims.
This opportunity offers direct access to shareholder-level attorneys, meaningful courtroom experience, and the ability to handle sophisticated coverage matters across multiple lines of insurance. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience working on insurance coverage cases.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze and litigate complex insurance coverage disputes
• Handle first-party property and third-party liability matters
• Draft coverage opinions and dispositive motions
• Manage declaratory judgment actions and bad faith claims
• Work directly with carrier clients on strategy and risk assessment
Qualifications:
• J.D. and active Texas law license
• 7+ years of insurance coverage litigation experience
• Strong motion practice and deposition experience
• Experience with CGL, excess/umbrella, professional lines, or specialty products preferred
