Job Description

We are seeking a customer-focused Agribusiness Loan Officer to build and manage a portfolio of agricultural clients. This role is responsible for growing relationships, providing tailored financial solutions, and supporting the success of local ag producers and businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of ~50 agribusiness relationships, averaging $50M in loans and $50M in deposits
  • Spend 20% of time acquiring new business, 40% growing existing relationships, and 40% servicing them
  • Identify client needs and deliver value-based solutions across bank products
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners (e.g., attorneys, CPAs)
  • Use bank CRM tools (e.g., Director, Navigator) and follow sales call strategy
  • Ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements
  • Actively participate in community engagement and business development

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of experience in commercial or ag lending
  • Strong relationship management and communication skills
  • Proficient in credit analysis and financial acumen
  • Ability to manage multiple relationships and priorities
  • Customer-first mindset with a collaborative approach
