Intellectual Property Litigation Attorney: Patent, Trademark, and Trade Secret Disputes in San Diego

Our client, a respected San Diego firm with a growing intellectual property practice, is seeking an Intellectual Property Litigation Attorney with 3+ years of experience for its downtown office. The team represents technology, life sciences, and consumer brand clients in patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret litigation.

This is a hybrid role. You will spend part of the week in the downtown San Diego office and part working remotely, with close partner involvement on every matter.

What You'll Do

• Litigate intellectual property disputes in federal court and related forums
• Draft complaints, motions, claim construction briefs, and discovery
• Take and defend depositions of inventors, executives, and technical experts
• Work with expert witnesses on infringement, validity, and damages issues
• Advise clients on enforcement strategy and litigation risk

What We're Looking For

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active member of the State Bar of California in good standing
• 3+ years of intellectual property or complex commercial litigation experience
• Exceptional writing and analytical skills
• Technical or scientific background is a plus but not required
• Comfort with a hybrid schedule
