Corporate / Transactional Litigation Attorney
📍 St. Louis, MO | Full-Time | Hybrid

A St. Louis-based law firm is seeking a Corporate/Transactional Litigation Attorney to join its team. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney who enjoys a mix of litigation and deal-related work across sophisticated matters, with a lower billable-hour target and a strong bonus structure tied to performance.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive legal research using platforms such as LexisNexis and Westlaw

  • Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, contracts, memoranda, and transactional materials

  • Manage matters spanning real estate, banking, corporate, M&A, or Estate Planning

  • Assist in negotiations and settlement discussions to achieve client objectives

  • Review and analyze documents and evidence to prepare for litigation and transactional proceedings

  • Maintain organized files and ensure compliance with court deadlines and internal procedures

  • Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to develop effective legal strategies

  • Stay current on relevant laws and regulations impacting multiple practice areas

Qualifications

  • JD from an accredited law school

  • Active bar membership in good standing

  • Prior experience in litigation and/or transactional law strongly preferred

  • Experience across real estate, banking, corporate, M&A, or estate planning is a plus

  • Strong writing, drafting, and analytical skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail

  • Partial book of business ($200+)

Compensation Highlights

  • Low billable-hour target

  • 15% orgination on all clients brought to the firm
