Overview
We are seeking a QA Regulatory Compliance Manager to oversee all Quality Assurance and Compliance functions of our operation. This role maintains and implements the Feed Safety & Quality Plan, Occupational Safety Plan, and Fleet Safety Plan, leads audits, and ensures all compliance systems are effective and up-to-date.
Key Responsibilities
Feed Safety & Quality Plan

Maintain and update the plan, reviewing every 3 years or as regulations change

Manage corrective actions and reporting
-
Perform monthly plant and grounds inspections
-
Oversee Drug Room and QA Lab operations
-
Develop and maintain training programs and logs
-
Lead feed safety audits for suppliers, FDA, and NYS
Occupational Safety Plan

Maintain and update the Occupational Safety & Health Plan
-
Perform OSHA 300 reporting annually
-
Conduct Job Hazard Analyses and coordinate machine guarding and lockout/tagout procedures
Fleet Safety Plan
Leadership & Training
-
Prepare agendas and take minutes for Leaders Team meetings

Conduct orientation, NYS Preventing Harassment, FSP, OSH, forklift, and job-specific trainings

Organize and lead annual safety meetings with presentations and materials
Audits & Corrective Actions

Prepare for and lead audits

Implement and document corrective actions

Maintain corrective action reports and investigate preventive measures
QA Lab & Strategic Programs
Professional Development

Maintain PCQI certification and Forklift Train-the-Trainer training
-
Stay current on trade publications (e.g., Feed and Grain, Feedstuffs)

Monitor FDA and OSHA violation databases relevant to the industry
Qualifications

Experience in quality assurance and regulatory compliance within feed or manufacturing industries

Strong knowledge of FDA and OSHA regulations
-
Audit leadership experience

Training program development and implementation experience

Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
