Mechanical Estimator

Job Summary: Are you an experienced Mechanical Estimator? We're seeking individuals with a strong background in HVAC, process piping, or structural/steel (civil) projects. Join us in estimating HVAC projects for large commercial and industrial ventures, including airports, hospitals, and data centers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Estimate HVAC project costs, materials, and labor accurately.
  • Review project plans and specifications to assess requirements.
  • Research products and materials for accurate estimates.
  • Evaluate bids and prepare proposals for clients.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, sales team, and internal departments.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and energy codes.
  • Maintain organized records of completed estimates.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of HVAC estimating experience (preference for some field experience as well)
  • Experience in large commercial and industrial projects.
  • Proficiency in Accubid software preferred.
  • Familiarity with HVAC, process piping, and structural/steel projects.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Membership in MCAA is a plus.
