Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Superintendents with a background in energy production and distribution infrastructure projects. Ideal candidates will have experience managing field operations for energy pipeline construction, utility infrastructure, or related heavy civil projects.

This opportunity is well-suited for someone with approximately 5+ years of supervisory experience who is looking to expand their scope, grow within the energy sector, and advance their career path.

Preferred Industry Experience

Candidates with experience in the following industries are highly preferred:

• Energy production/distribution
• Pipeline construction
• Utility infrastructure
• Gas line projects
• Civil construction
• Telecommunications infrastructure

Candidates with wastewater/wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) construction experience will also be considered.

Location & Travel

• Candidates should be based locally within the Carolinas or willing to relocate.
• Ability to travel throughout North Carolina and South Carolina is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations and project execution
• Coordinate subcontractors, crews, schedules, and site logistics
• Ensure safety, quality, and production goals are met
• Maintain communication with project management and clients
• Drive project performance and team accountability
• Support project planning and operational efficiency

Qualifications

• 5+ years of supervisory or superintendent experience in construction or utility infrastructure
• Strong understanding of field operations, scheduling, and safety compliance
• Experience with energy pipeline projects strongly preferred
• Transferable experience from civil, telecom, gas, or utility construction considered
• Ability to manage crews and coordinate multiple project activities
• Willingness to travel within the Carolinas

Compensation

• Compensation range: $90,000 – $115,000
• Final compensation will depend on experience, industry background, and depth of knowledge.
