Junior Estimator - Residential Construction

A well-known, stable home builder is looking to bring on an Assistant / Junior Estimator!

They offer competitive compensation with an excellent benefit package. This position requires a minimum of 2+ years of experience (on the commercial or residential side).

Junior Estimator Core Responsibilities Include:

• Estimators are responsible for developing accurate and complete job estimates.
• Obtains bids from vendors and subcontractors by specifying materials; identifying qualified subcontractors; negotiating price.
• Maintains cost keys and price masters by updating information.
• Resolves cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
• Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

 Junior Estimator Skills and Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Estimating Experience within the residential or commercial construction
• College Degree Preferred
• Knowledge of various estimating software
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of blueprints and specifications
• Ability to meet deadlines
