Estimator / Project Manager – Structural & Miscellaneous Steel

Location: Pittsburgh, PA area

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Estimator / Project Manager specializing in structural and miscellaneous steel to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in estimating, project management, and overseeing steel construction projects from initial proposal through project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed estimates for structural and miscellaneous steel projects, including labor, materials, and equipment costs.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Work closely with clients, contractors, and the internal team to coordinate project requirements and deliverables.
  • Analyze and interpret blueprints, project plans, and specifications.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in structural and miscellaneous steel estimating and project management.
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding steel construction plans.
  • Strong project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
