Maintenance Superintendent – Night Shift

Gpac | Food Manufacturing

Gpac is seeking a Maintenance Superintendent (Night Shift) to lead and develop a skilled maintenance team while ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations. This hands-on leadership role oversees 3 supervisors, 24 mechanics, 4 electricians, and multiple boiler and refrigeration technicians, and serves as a key bridge between day and night operations.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead, coach, and support the night shift maintenance team to ensure safe and reliable operations

  • Improve communication and continuity between day and night shifts

  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues to minimize downtime

  • Hold team members accountable in a fair, respectful, and consistent manner

  • Partner with production leadership to plan, prioritize, and execute maintenance activities

  • Promote a culture of ownership, follow-through, and continuous improvement

  • Drive training, skill development, and succession planning within the team

  • Ensure compliance with food safety, safety, and company policies

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience leading maintenance or technical teams in a food manufacturing environment (canning experience a plus)

  • Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems

  • Clear, confident, and assertive communicator
