Personal Injury Associate Attorney

Experience Required: 1+ Years Location: Connecticut Employment Type: Full-Time

A growing and well-respected plaintiff's personal injury law firm is seeking a motivated Personal Injury Associate Attorney with at least one year of personal injury litigation experience to join its dynamic legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to develop their litigation skills while working alongside experienced trial attorneys in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of personal injury matters from pre-litigation through litigation
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and settlement demands
• Conduct legal research and prepare case strategy
• Take and defend depositions
• Attend hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences
• Communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, insurance adjusters, and medical providers
• Assist with trial preparation and participate in trial proceedings as needed

Qualifications

• 1+ years of personal injury experience required
• Active license to practice law and in good standing
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment
• Trial experience is a plus but not required
