Mechanical Piping & Plumbing Designer
Our client is seeking a Mechanical Piping & Plumbing Designer to join their growing engineering and design team. This position will focus on commercial and industrial piping/plumbing system design, coordination, and project support within a collaborative team environment.

Position Responsibilities
- Design and coordinate mechanical piping and plumbing systems for commercial and industrial projects
- Develop detailed construction drawings and layouts
- Work closely with engineers, project managers, and field teams throughout project execution
- Perform equipment and piping layouts using AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Revit, or related software platforms
- Assist with project coordination, clash detection, and model reviews
- Support project documentation, submittals, and revisions
- Coordinate with other trades and disciplines to ensure project accuracy and efficiency
Qualifications
- Experience in Mechanical Piping and/or Plumbing Design required
- Experience with commercial and/or industrial projects preferred
- Proficiency with:
- AutoCAD
- Revit
- Plant 3D
- CADWorx
- Navisworks
- Bluebeam
(or similar platforms)
- Understanding of piping systems, plumbing systems, and construction coordination
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Process piping or heavy industrial experience is a plus
